What is UV DTF?
UV DTF stands for ultraviolet direct-to-film. The design is printed with UV-cured ink onto a clear adhesive film, producing a waterproof, scratch-resistant decal with a slightly raised texture. Unlike regular DTF, it needs no heat and no press, which is why it works on rigid items that would never survive a heat platen.
How is UV DTF different from regular DTF?
Regular DTF transfers are heat-pressed onto fabric. UV DTF transfers are adhesive-backed and made for hard surfaces. If it's a shirt, you want DTF. If it's a tumbler, you want UV DTF.
Do UV DTF transfers need a heat press?

What surfaces do UV DTF stickers work on?
Smooth, hard, non-porous surfaces work best: stainless tumblers, glass cans, ceramic mugs, acrylic, sealed wood, metal, and hard plastics. They're not for fabric or surfaces that flex.
Are UV DTF cup wraps dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing. UV DTF is waterproof and durable for daily use, but dishwasher heat and detergent will shorten its life on drinkware.
How long do UV DTF transfers last?
Applied to a clean, properly prepped surface and hand washed, a UV DTF transfer will hold up for years without fading, cracking, or lifting at the edges. The UV-cured ink resists scratching and does not need a sealant or epoxy topcoat.
