What is a UV DTF cup wrap?

A UV DTF cup wrap is a full-coverage decal printed with UV-cured ink and finished with an adhesive backing, sized and shaped to wrap around a drinking vessel. Unlike vinyl, there is no weeding and no transfer tape. Unlike sublimation, there is no heat, no press, and no special blank required. The wrap bonds on contact and is waterproof and scratch resistant once applied.

How to apply UV DTF cup wraps

Clean the glass thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely. Peel the wrap away from its paper backing. Line the top edge up with the rim of the cup, then wrap it around and press firmly, working out from the center to push out any trapped air. Slowly peel away the clear top film and the design stays behind. Take your time on the first one — the adhesive grabs quickly and repositioning is difficult once it is down. Will these UV DTF wraps fit my cup?

These wraps are cut for standard 16 oz glass cans, which are the most common size sold for iced coffee and cocktail glasses. They also fit many 16 oz straight-walled tumblers. If your vessel is tapered, curved, or a different capacity, the wrap will not lie flat — choose a smaller decal instead from our full UV DTF transfer collection.
