If you are looking for a printing technology with flawless final designs that can be used on most fabric types with an exact depiction of the image, DTF is the answer.
Direct to Film or DTF is a process that transfers prints onto fabric or other substrates using a heat-press. Unlike the DTG method, which only works on cotton fabrics or sublimation which only works on polyester, the DTF method can work on cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends and many other fabrics with no pre treatment.
The application process is quite simple and only requires a heat press, and of course a shirt (or fabric substrate of some sort). We recommend a temperature of 300-310 F for cotton and cotton/poly blends.Â
- You'll want to prepress the shirt for 5 seconds to remove wrinkles
-  Align your transfer into the proper position on your substrate and press for about 10 seconds. If a portion of the design is not adhering properly, just press again for another 5-10 seconds.Â
- Next rub the surface of the film, let it cool completely and then peel away the film.Â
- Once the film is removed, press the shirt one more time for 5 seconds which is the final curing step. Note: We recommend covering the design with either a sheet of parchment paper which will give your design a matte look or a Teflon sheet which will give your design a little more sheen. Just depends on your preference.
- In summary, just remember 5-10-5 (seconds) at 300 degrees.
We think you will love the flexibility of these transfers because you are no longer limited to a specific type of fabric or even specific colors.

How large of an image can you produce? I am trying to minimize the amount of heat transfer tape used to connect the images for a +/- 33″ × 60″ edge-to-edge printed towel. How does the longevity of the printed designs compare to inkjet (relatively short life) vs sublimation (extended life)?

Do you make transfers from a photo? If so what would the cost be for multiple copies of one print?
Can your designs be heat pressed on win spinners. Do u have designs for spinners ?
Can these be used on sublimation place mats? Or maybe on vinyl placemats? Thank you,
